‘Glamour and the Risk’ is the marriage of two definitive film making concepts found in cinema; the Film Noir aesthetics of the 1940’s, and early experimental pieces of the late 1970’s.
A man takes a self-explorative journey as his mind transposes itself from a quiet smoke in his garage. He invisions himself standing in an open safehaven, where traditional and graceful cinematic conventions exhibit the traditional appealing qualities of smoking on screen. This becomes soon juxtaposed, where by a turn of events he discovers the detrimental side and harm of smoking, and he begins to drown himself in his own plumes of self absorbent, starkly contrasted aesthetically to the way he was originally represented.
